About the Founder

Ramachandran KN

As founder, Chairman, and Managing Director of Eazy Power India, Ramachandran leads the
company’s efforts in technology development, commercialization, and knowledge management.
Originally established in 2010 to manufacture power tools and specialized equipment for the National
Skill Development Mission, the company has since evolved into a pioneering clean energy enterprise.
This transformation was driven by collaborative research in advanced metal catalysts and ultra-high
frequency electric induction for room-temperature electrolysis, enabling applications across the
hydrogen economy, critical and rare metal extraction from mine tailings, and soil reclamation and
remediation.

Since its inception in 2008 as a proprietary entity, Eazy Power India has consistently engaged in cutting-
edge clean energy research and contributed to several of the world’s major clean energy projects. A
landmark achievement has been the successful demonstration of continuous hydrogen production from
seawater—an innovation that holds promise for transformative chemistry, the advancement of the
hydrogen economy, and even the reversal of climate change. Beyond hydrogen, the technology also
offers pathways for soil remediation, sustainable urea and chemical production, and large-scale
economic growth for the nation.

Ramachandran brings over three decades of experience in knowledge-driven organizations, including
leadership roles at General Electric. His contributions span more than 1,000 citations, over 70
publications, and numerous patents in fields such as energy, mineral sciences, spectroscopy, and
environmental technologies. He holds a doctorate in Chemical Sciences and continues to collaborate on
advanced research programs focused on technology and application development.
